Subscriptions to provide budgeting, support benefits

Customers will find easier budgeting and better support in the new product subscriptions Enfold Systems is announcing today to its Web site visitors.

With its upcoming version 4 releases, Enfold will begin offering Enfold Server, Proxy and Desktop under an annual subscription system that covers licensing, upgrades, patches and support for one flat yearly fee. The move is partly in response to customers who have noted subscription pricing makes budgeting easier while ensuring access to current, secure, well-tested software and professional support.

With this change, Enfold for the first time will provide, via the Standard subscription, an unlimited number of support incidents and faster severe-level response, intended for systems where incidents could have significant impact on business operations and productivity. For less-critical support needs, the Basic subscription will include up to three general incidents, providing greater flexibility and coverage compared to Enfold's previously included 30-day installation support.
